The 66th NC Azalea Festival will be held April 10th-14th, 2013 in the greater Wilmington area. The Festival is a celebration of Wilmington's exceptional artwork, gardens, rich history and culture during its five days of entertainment that includes: a parade, street fair, circus, concerts, pageantry, and all that is Southern.
Next year's Parade will be held Saturday April 13th, 2013 and will follow the traditional parade route. The parade continues to be South Eastern North Carolina's largest annual event, with over a quarter of a million viewers and participants anticipated this year.
Our traditional parade route flows right through the heart of Historic downtown Wilmington. The approximately 1.2 mile route is both fun and easy for everyone involved as it passes Wilmington's original post office, courthouse and library.
Next year's Street Fair will be held Friday April 12th through Sunday April 14th, 2013.
The North Carolina Azalea Festival Street Fair is a free, family event with over 200 arts and craft vendors, 40 food vendors, 4 stages, a children's area and a whole lot of fun! The Street Fair is located in downtown Wilmington on Water, Front, and Market Street.
The fun starts on Friday night, April 12th, with the Main Stage and Riverfront Park Stage entertaining the crowds and food vendors filling the air with scrumptious smells. The fun continues on Saturday, April 13th from 9AM to 11PM and Sunday, April 14th from 9AM to 6PM.
